Course Description:

Explore how to use Mentimeter efficiently. Learn how to embed effective and seamless online interactive presentations. Explore ways to gather learner data in seconds. Mentimeter is a cloud-based tool that allows you to engage and interact with your target audience in real-time. It is a polling tool that allows you to gain insight and feedback based on your audience’s response. Mentimeter shows the results live while your participants are voting with the web-based mobile polling app directly in their browser, making sure everyone is participating and engaged in your presentation. You can check for understanding or take a poll of your audience to get their immediate feedback from any device connected to the Internet. The platform enables professionals to collect data via live polls, quizzes, and questions in real-time and analyze data to gain insights into trends. Team members can also use the system to translate content into multiple languages, collect feedback via surveys, and control lectures via smartphones.

 

Course Time: This training is estimated to take about 2 hours to complete.

  • support educators to improve and customize instruction for all students in a virtual, blended or in-person classroom.
  • provide asynchronous professional learning options for the teachers (i.e. time, pace, and path).
  • personalize professional  learning for educators (provide multiple entry points, focus on choice-based professional learning, matching the skill levels and content areas of the teachers).
